My name is Rebekah Burke, and I am the freelancer behind R Burke Web Design. Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, I now split my time between there and my adopted town of Maastricht, Netherlands.

I have been passionate about art since childhood, and when I discovered computer programming as a teenager, my interest in the world of website design - a field which bridges creativity and technicality so uniquely - was born. I attended the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, first for a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, then for a Master's Degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), receiving a first class honours degree in both cases.

After graduation I was employed by the University until I left to go freelance - and thus, R Burke Web Design was born!
